GUIDE
A medium is one who serves as an instrument through which the personality of an intelligence in the etheric world can help those of us existing in the physical world.
A medium is most often utilized to connect with a loved one who has passed on. Mediums are often used in police work to connect with the victim of a violent crime when all other detective work has reached a dead end.
Mediums can get messages from the other side in their mind's eye (clairvoyant), mind's ear (clairaudient) and even through smell (clairgustant), taste (clairscent), touch (clairsentient) as in sensing the energy in a room or touch (psychometry) as in touching objects and getting impressions of energetic imprints and memories. All of the means listed by which a medium communicates with the other side are considered psychic abilities.
The major difference between a psychic and a medium is that a psychic uses their gifts to help the seeker make choices on the future or heal the past without the assistance of a loved one or guide, while a medium is communicating with loved ones and guides to relay messages from the spirit world to the client.
